Since 1985, Hospice of the Valley has helped people through the most difficult times in their lives. Founded by volunteers and sustained by the community, Hospice of the Valley celebrates life by helping patients, family members, and others in need to live each day as fully as possible.
The continuum of care services focus on improving the quality of life for persons and their families faced with a chronic disease, life-limiting illness or simply the slow decline of a long life. Palliative and hospice care work together to help patients and families on their final journey by providing comfort, relieving physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering, promoting patient's dignity. Palliative and hospice care neither prolongs nor hastens the dying process.
